You can go for rope jumping. It’s one of the most powerful and dynamic cardio exercises around that helps you torch off quite a lot of calories in a short jumping session of say 15-20 minutes.

It strengthens your heart and lungs, keeping them strong and fit. It also improves your body coordination and sharpens your mental acuity.

I’ve written a guide on how to jump rope effectively here which might be of interest to you: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/jump-rope-workout.html

Without treadmill is not the end of things. Besides rope jumping, you can do these cardio exercises without equipment:

1.Walking around your house, garden or on track
    2. Dancing
    3. Stair climbing
    4. Got a bicycle? Go biking then!
    5. Kick boxing
    6. Jogging in the open air
    7. Swimming
